I am always in the city on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 for my class and (now) I can plan to be there earlier since, who is going to tell me I can't leave the office a bit early.

But I also have jury duty on the 10th. Man, life is complicated.

First and most important job is to buy a computer. I can officially stop dithering about whether to get a desktop or a laptop. I am losing my office laptop (which I use to take notes for classes) so I have to get a laptop. My 7 year old (not even top of the line even then) paperweight/dust collector won't cut it.

My project for this weekend.

Celebrity Mole

Can you believe it? Not five minutes free in five days. Despite recent tragedy, i'm also still hopelessy immersed in the inane. so here's my prediction about tomorrow night's mole.

Kathy Griffin is probably the mole. should have seen it all along, she's the one who's been complaining and dragging her feet, she started the whole alliance business, and she's the one that been talking to the press about the show.

Erik has now lost the competition, think he suddenly realized that last show. He's been going with Boatman, so that means Frederique is probably way ahead of him on quiz points. You can tell he was really counting one winning that pot, too.

So he's runner up and Frederique will win.

could be totally wrong, but watching people's faces and reactions on the last two shows, that's how i call it.

Inane is good. It gets us thru the days sometimes.

I am enjoying the Mole. I also believe it is Kathy, but I am finding Fred more and more funny as time goes on.

Kathy trying so hard to lose the money is the pool last night was so damn Moleish. She finally got it, but reluctantly so.

I'm sticking by my predictions. If Erik is the Mole, he should get an Emmy, coz it's hard to believe he's been lying about everything from day one. He seems totally focused on walking off with $233,000. The teasers for next week suggest he might end up being the winner. Kathy has done the most to lose the group money. She brought in nothing last week, and lost them $10,000 this week. Could be Fred, but I'm staying with the obvious and picking Kathy.

The scavenger hunt was great. Mostly because Frederique spent the whole time swearing at people. I have to give Erik a medal on keeping his temper, too; he had a supermodel and a comedienne yelling at him all day, calling him a little ****, telling him to **** ***, and saying how they're gonna kick his ***. Baldwin would have decked one of them five minutes into the show.

Celebrity Mole

Okay, a great learning experience. Mostly I learned that I am nearly as dumb as Stephen Baldwin. I had everything wrong from the beginning.

Feel bad for von Detten, he earned most of the money and came away with nothing (and gets insulted by Baldwin, besides). Hopefully someone will notice he pulled the ratings up on this show and will give him a job offer.

OK...you guys got me stuck. I started watching the damn show like 3 eps ago. Did anyone pick Fredrique to be the Mole? LoL

Aslso, did anyone catch ANY of those hidden clues? Corman should have..lol

Well, my figures are rusty, but Erik won money for the group in the sheep round-up ($5000?), then for jumping off the cliff (10,000), then the big win for giving up the exemption (60,000), another $25,000 for eating the hot pepper, $10,000 or so for giving decent answers in the search game, and $25,000 in the last game. He lost about $15,000 when he told the group to stick with one of the coffin/boxes in the charades game.

Corbin lost $25,000 by himself and technically lost $30,000 with his raft, thought Erik won it back. I think he won money in sheep herding, plane diving, and pepper eating.

Baldwin made money on the waterfall exercise and on the plane trip and on sheep-herding. He helped Corbin lose $25,000 at the dinner table argument.

Kathy and Boatman probably both lost the team about $70,000 a piece. Boatman earned about $25,000, Kathey about $50,000. In fact, Frederique probably earned more money towards the pot than Boatman.

Iz, don't beat yourself up, one of the things that makes it so tough to figure out who the Mole is, is that *everyone* else is PRETENDING to be the MOLE #@$%@$#$! LOL

The first time the show aired the two finalist's had lost more money than the Mole. Katherine remarked on the final show that Steve and Jim were losing so much money that she actually had to try to win money at some points so there would be a pot at the end!

I'd be interested to see how much money the others lost compared to Frederique. Erik obviously won money, but how much did Kathy lose? How much did Boatman and Corbin lose?

It does make looking back at the Dinner from Hell funny. Because I noticed at the time that Freddy was hesitent to let Erik get the excemption...And the look on her face when Corbin threw his fit was priceless. If Corbin hadn't been a ass in that game, we would have had more clue that Fred was the Mole. Hell, if Corbin had gone out first we would have had more clue Fred was the Mole. He was taking charge of so many things, she *didn't* have a chance to sabotage as much!

I think that this easily beats the last Mole, but a little bit less exciting that first Mole. But it is hard to beat the first season of reality shows, that is the season that is the least scripted...
